Our History

We came into existence in the year 1964 and have grown tremendously to acquire a leadership position amongst electronic component producers like Ignition Condenser,Ignition Coil Condenser, etc from India. We have set up our corporate office at Nariman Point in Mumbai.

Our factory is set up in Pune across an area of 22000 square feet and is 160 Kms away from South East of Mumbai. With technical knowledge and imported machinery from Germany in 1967, we began with the production of epoxy moulded axial lead paper capacitors for general applications. Within a short span of time, we changed the designs and develop a new range of oil impregnated aluminium can encased capacitors to meet the technology requirements of the electronics industry. These new capacitors received immense appreciation and great response and since then, there was no turning back.

We developed steel can encased automobile ignition capacitors in 1969 and then we proceeded in this specialized segment. We began shipping our products across the globe and in 1973; we came up with our wire wound resistors. Our brand gained respect by numerous industrial users across the country. With the beginning of telecom revolution in the 80's, our resistors were used in all C-DOT emanated telecom products and equipment like Ignition Condenser, Ignition Coil Condenser, etc.

Extensive R&D led to the emergence of axial lead capacitors and oil impregnated radial lead box type capacitors in 1986. Currently, these products constitute a major part of our product portfolio and are widely demanded. In the last two decades, we have been increasing our product range from capacitors for automobile horns to capacitors for CDI systems, RC network blocks to capacitors for ovens, we have been successful in developing key products for specialized applications.

El-Ci-ArR products with an exceptional capacity of ten million units is successfully catering to the needs of the industry through fast services, proven quality, reasonable prices etc.

Manufacturing

We are situated in the industrial hub of Maharashtra, Pune with a 22000 sq feet area. Our spacious infrastructure with proper management ensures proper material handling and smooth flow of operations.

All the important operations are done using machinery which is sourced from USA and Japan. Experienced machine operators and skilled engineers take utmost care in preventing the deviation from stringent quality requirements. Some of the machines include Automatic Winding, Automatic Welding, Automatic Potting, Automatic Dipping, Automatic Testing etc.

We follow a 360 degree feedback to identify the product or process issues and rectify before any failures.

On the job training is provided to workers for developing their skills.

Our experienced and committed maintenance team regularly monitors the machines functionality through a preventive maintenance schedule. We sue only original spare parts and tools for our machines.

Our quality assurance, manufacturing process, quality control system is certified by TUV Suddeutschland for compliance with ISO 9002 standards.

Research & Development

In 1997, we have received ISO 9002 certificate from TUV Suddeustchland for our quality system for manufacturing of capacitors, resistors, RC networks.
